The Knife Of Never Letting Go
Where i am in the book is when Todd and Manchee where walking to the swamp and it was silent. Which is impossible. No matter how hard Todd listened he didn't hear any noise what so ever. As they left the swamp to head home something caught Todd's eye. There was something watching him in the swamp. He didn't know what it was but he knew it wasn't leaving. With Manchee barking and growling, Todd and Manchee ran away from the swamp and Todd promised himself he wouldn't go back.

Justin,
ReplyDeletethere sure is a lot of sound-imagery going on here, huh? It's sort of eerie that the swamp was completely silent...I get a weirded out feeling as I read your description of the scene. Is that the same feeling you got when you were reading the book?
Good job making me feel right there with you in the reading!
Thanks. Yes this was the same sort of feeling and imagery that I got too. I find that as I read the book, I can really picture everything that is going on. The author really put detail into what he was writing so it makes it a lot easier to imagine!
ReplyDeleteJustin, just the title lured me in, is this book always intense like your last blog?
